Kit premiered the songs at The Bedford, London and won best song in the Song Slam writing competition. Championed by Tony Moore.
“Kit’s infectious and exquisitely written songs were delivered with enthusiasm and a sense of quiet confidence that captivated the room. How he can sound like an entire band is down to his brilliant musicianship and perfectly balanced vocals. The Living Life EP is about my life as an artist in London. In a society telling us to conform & get back to ‘reality’.
I will not! This is my life that God has given me. This is my reality. This is my Story and I’m going to write it. I am not going anywhere and I don’t want to participate in the gold fish bowl society that reality shows such as the X factor have created, turning the music industry into a competition. Music is a universal collective. Music is for your soul & your heart. We have forgotten & I am here to jog your memory.
Living Life features First Diamond who is an established urban artist from NW London; from the crew 25/8 She is a perfect choice for the feature on this record. Her poetic and lyrical style and content tells it as it is!
Christopher Blacc was raised in Southeast London with his father and two brothers, surrounded by the harsh reality of poverty, drugs, and gun crime. He uses the admiration he has for his father to fuel his growing passion for music.Blacc is one of many talented members of the OrphGang collective. OrphGang is a creative collective composed of Tinyman, YJ, Intalekt, Kojey Radical, B Moni, Zulu, R Kay and MG.
Bronte and Chelsea Ann, are Kits incredible backing singers, both Brit school graduates. The record needed a full vocal spectrum and are a necessary part of Kit’s sound.
The record includes tracks from Kits recent rise in the UK Garage scene, with Kit X Fen, Not Enough, single, and 2 remixes of Dreaming, one from DJ Fen (Ramsey & Fen) and the other from Operator S, an up and coming producer.
AS you can see on this record Kit features many up and coming artistes and DJ’s as a statement. Believing in supporting other artists.
Online Kit’s followers have hit 13.5K on Twitter, 7.2k on Facebook and 8.2k on Instagram. His YouTube channel has over 70 thousand views!
